While athletes are the faces of these achievements, every sporting journey is supported by a dedicated team working tirelessly behind the scenes. At the Bhutan Paralympic Committee, a group of committed professionals ensures that athletes receive the support, opportunities, and resources needed to reach their full potential.

Leading these efforts is our Senior Program Officer, who oversees the planning, implementation, and coordination of programs that contribute to the growth and development of para sports in Bhutan. Working closely alongside is the Assistant Program Officer, who supports the day-to-day operations, athlete development initiatives, and organizational activities that keep programs running smoothly and effectively.

Supporting the technical side of athlete preparation is our Assistant Technical Coordinator. From coordinating training activities to assisting with competition preparations and athlete participation, this role plays an important part in ensuring athletes are equipped to perform at their best.

Beyond their individual responsibilities, these officials work together to manage a wide range of tasks that are essential to every athlete’s journey. From organizing training camps and competitions to coordinating travel arrangements, accommodation, accreditation, and logistics, their work forms the backbone of athlete participation at both national and international events.

The dedication of officials often goes unnoticed by the public. While athletes compete on the field of play, officials are busy behind the scenes solving challenges, managing schedules, coordinating resources, and ensuring every detail is in place. Their commitment allows athletes to focus on training and competition with confidence.
