The Bhutan Paralympic Committee (BPC) successfully conducted its 5th Para-Sports Awareness Program today at Drukgyel Central School, bringing the joy and power of sports to children with Special Educational Needs (SEN).

This program, now in its fifth cohort, was designed to introduce young students to the world of para-sports—a world where ability is celebrated, and every child has a chance to thrive. More than just an event, it was a day of connection, confidence-building, and joyful exploration.

From inclusive games to interactive sessions, children were given a platform to explore their potential, challenge their limits, and experience the spirit of sportsmanship in a safe and encouraging environment. Teachers and parents expressed heartfelt appreciation for the initiative, highlighting how emotional and empowering it was to see the children not just participating—but shining.
